How To Change Your WordPress Website Password

Want to change your WordPress website admin password? Here are the steps!

Step 1: Navigate to “Users”

Navigate to your WordPress Dashboard and select “Users”

Step 2: Edit Admin

Click on “Edit” for the admin whose password you want to change

Step 3: Set New Password

Scroll down and click on “set new password.” Don’t forget to select “Update Profile” at the bottom of the page after resetting your password! Save your password somewhere safe and accessible.

Step 4: Double Check. Logout

Done! Your password is reset! Now let’s double-check to make sure that your new password is working. Log out of your account.

Step 5: Log Back In With New Password

Navigate to your website followed by forward slash “wp-login.php” to access the admin login screen for your website. Enter your new login credentials to verify that everything is working correctly!
