Whitelist IP address Microsoft Office 365

How to Whitelist by IP Address in Office 365

This help article will cover how to whitelist email servers in Office 365. Please contact support to get the specific IP for your site. If you need to purchase your own email, then you can get either Microsoft 365 email (which this article focuses on), or you can take a look at our Professional Business email plans.

SET UP YOUR IP ALLOW LIST

Step 1: Login to your ELITE WEB account and click on ‘Manage’ next to the email you wish to edit.

Step 2: Click on the ‘admin’ dropdown and select ‘advanced’

Step 3: Under the ‘protection’ heading click ‘connection filter’

Step 4: A pop up modal will open. Click ‘connection filter’ and press on the + icon.

Step 5: Another pop up modal will open asking you to enter an IP address.

Once all the steps are complete, you have successfully whitelisted an IP address for your Microsoft 365 account. This means that this will prevent any more email going to your spam folder from this IP address. This is particularly useful if you have a website that sends mail via PHPMail or an SMTP server, that you find is getting placed in your spam folder.
