Change my recovery email address

Change the email address that can receive a password reset. If you’re setting up Microsoft 365 for the first time, add a recovery email address instead.

1. Sign in to your Email & Office Dashboard.
2. If you’re an account owner, select Manage next to the email address. Otherwise, continue to the next step.
3. Under Account information, select Edit. (If don’t have a recovery email, select Add recovery email.)
4. Enter your Recovery email and select Save.

You’ll see a confirmation that your recovery email was updated.
